Just when the Fortnite x Star Wars collaboration appeared to be winding down, Epic Games teased a possible Droid skin coming to the Battle Royale.

Unlike past crossovers with the iconic franchise, Fortnite’s current state is fairly balanced and exciting. With only three Lightsabers to earn from select Rift Gates on the map, the weapon is nowhere near as overpowered or overpopulated as it once was in the Battle Royale.

There has also been a plethora of new Find the Force Quests to complete, most recently the Begun the Clone Wars Have Quests. Fans can expect the Fall of the Republic Quests, the final installment of Star Wars-inspired challenges, to go live tomorrow, May 12.

Could there also be a Star Wars Droid skin coming to the game?

Is a Star Wars Droid Skin Coming to Fortnite?

The official Fortnite Twitter account sent out a cryptic tweet that reads, “Roger, Roger” without any further explanation. As Star Wars continues to dominate Fortnite right now, the tweet points to a possible Battle Droid skin coming to the game.

Players can already find Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala in the Item Shop as the two new skins available for purchase. Through the Star Wars Battle Pass, players can also unlock Darth Maul, Clone Trooper, and Coruscant Guard skins.

Epic Games has a history of teasing skins days before they drop to incite intrigue among the community. With another new update coming tomorrow that will possibly bring back a Darth Vader NPC, it would only make sense for another skin to drop in the Item Shop.
