As Fortnite’s collaboration with Star Wars continues to unfold, fans want to know when Darth Vader is coming to the Battle Royale. Another Fortnite Darth Vader NPC could present an exciting challenge on the map.
In previous collaborations, Darth Vader served as a worthy opponent for players who ran into the NPC. He had the health of a Boss, and was able to teleport around players, making him even harder to kill. The former hero of the Clone Wars was even the Tier 100 Battle Pass skin in Chapter 3 Season 3.
Although Fortnite’s current crossover with the iconic franchise has been live for over a week, there has been no sign of the famous villain. Recently, Clone Troopers entered the map as friendly NPCs patrolling Clone Trooper Checkpoints, but the only other Star Wars influences on the current game have been the new Lightsabers and the DC-15 Blaster Rifle.
So, when can fans expect Darth Vader to invade Fortnite?
When is Darth Vader Coming to Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2?
According to reliable Fortnite leaker, iFireMonkey, Darth Vader is set to make his grand entrance once the Fall of the Republic Quests go live. The leaked information reports May 13 as the official date, but the quests are confirmed by Epic Games to drop the day before, on May 12.
The small screenshot shows that players will have to help defeat Darth Vader to earn 200 Galactic Reputation. The quest confirms Darth Vader will return as an NPC, and he will most likely be just as lethal as his previous iterations in the Battle Royale.
Typically, defeating a Boss grants a mythic weapon, and surely Darth Vader will be no exception. The iconic antagonist will likely drop a new Lightsaber for players to wield, or some other sort of reward for defeating him.
As players wait for the final set of quests, they can complete the Begun the Clone Wars Have Quests, now live.
