Fortnite: How To Unlock The White Scientist At Dusty Depot
The end of Season 10 of Fortnite is almost here, and players only have a limited amount of time to finish up before it’s too late. The final challenge to complete is for the white Scientist variation and back bling, and here’s how to do it.
The overtime challenges were introduced earlier this week by Fortnite Battle Royale, which were called Out Of Time, and they unlocked new variations for three of the Battle Pass skins. These last challenges need to be completed before Season 10 ends this Sunday, October 13 at 2 PM EDT.
The Out Of Time challenges were released earlier this week beginning on Tuesday, October 8th over three days, 2 challenges each day. As the storyline goes, the Visitor, left audio recordings at various locations around the island giving us clues to the end of Season 10.
The first two tapes could be found at Retail Row and the Floating Island. The next two were located at Moisty Palms and Greasy Grove. The final two tapes were left in Gotham City and at the Starry Suburbs. Once those tapes were found and the accompanying three challenges were completed that came with them, variations of Yond3r, Sparkle Supreme, and the External Voyager were rewarded to players in Fortnite.

The Scientist and Visitor both play a major role in the storyline of Season 10, and both are one of the “seven” mentioned in the audio tapes. As the tapes implies, what the seven are up to is very risky, and they have found themselves looped. The Visitor talks about triggering a device from within the loop, or they will lose the bridge forever. Does this imply that access to the island will be looped and unavailable? Only time will tell.

Once all of the above mentioned Out Of Time challenges are completed, a new and final variation of the Scientist in white becomes available to unlock. There is also a new back bling that opens up with the White Scientist called Star Surge. This is the final mission of Season 10, and this one is pretty straight forward.
Make sure after all the Out Of Time missions are done, you begin a new Fortnite match wearing the Scientist skin. This challenge will not work unless you start a new game after finishing all of the Out Of Time challenges. As the Scientist, land at the hangar that houses the rocket in Dusty Depot and enter from on the ground.
Once inside the rocket hangar at Dusty Depot, head over to the console on the main floor. Once there, you will be prompted to interact, and the last audio tape will be played. That’s it. You have then officially completed the last challenge for Season 10. Now, you just have to be patient and wait for Sunday to see if we really do get a new map as everyone is speculating.
