The first two Out Of Time challenges became available today in Fortnite as part of Season 10’s overtime challenges. Jump into the game to grab these rewards before the Season 11 starts this Sunday, October 13 at 2 PM EDT.

This is the last week of Season 10 in the popular Fortnite Battle Royale game, and they have dropped us some last minute challenges to keep us occupied until the end of the season this weekend. Don’t forget about the rocket launch this Sunday, October 13 at 2 PM EDT when Season 10 will give way to the beginning of Season 11.

These latest overtime challenges are called Out Of Time and are dropping two at a time, every other day. That means the first two challenges are live in Fortnite now. Two additional challenges will become available at 10 AM on October 9, and the final two challenges are set to go live at 10 AM on Friday, October 11.

There are two recordings to find that the Visitor left behind. Leaked information leads us to believe these audio tapes lead to the live event and rocket launch from Dusty Depot. For all of the leaked information, jump over to Everything You Need To Know Now About Season 11.

Where To Find The Visitor’s Recordings

The first recording to find is at the Floating Island, which is down in the south/eastern part of the map currently. Keep in mind, the Floating Island is always moving so it may not be there when you start the challenge.

When you land on the Island, land at the area near the shed and next to the swimming pool. From there, you can see the gold pickup truck straight ahead that is parked next to the house. In the tailgate, you will find the first Visitor’s audio tape. Once retrieved, you can actually listen to the audio on the tape. No spoilers here.

The next recording is found at Retail Row. Beware of the horde that still lingers around trying to kill you. Land at the south/eastern corner of Retail and go into McGuffin’s Bookstore. This is the store closest to the large water tower in the area. Once inside the bookstore, head upstairs and the tape is on the floor at the top of the steps.

Deal Damage

The second challenge is very straight forward. You must deal 2,500 damage to your opponents. No accounting for any shield, this would amount to 25 eliminations with full health. The quickest and easiest way to complete this challenge is to drop into a game or two of Team Rumble. Depending on your skill level and a little luck with player’s fully shielded up, you could knock this one out in one game with 13 eliminations.

Rewards For Completing Out Of Time Challenges

By completing all six of the challenges, you will be rewarded with a ton of player XP, a new loading screen, and extra style options. The loading screen rewarded is the infamous Season 10 showcase art highlighting all of the skins available in this season’s Battle Pass.

The player XP rewarded for completing all six challenges is a whooping 35,000 XP. That’s a ton of XP for those that need to boost up tiers to finish off the season. Each of the first two challenges only grant a combined 5,000 XP to players. The later challenges offer much more XP.

The most exciting part of the overtime challenges are the additional style options available for the Season 10 Battle Pass skins. Yond3r gets a solid gold outfit, Sparkle Supreme gets a reverse disco outfit, and the External Voyager gets a red and gold version of his skin. Not too bad for a little work.
