Rogue has finally added to their competitive Fortnite roster, adding Lamar and Pax West winner Morgausse.

With the online qualifiers in April for the Fortnite World Cup that will take place in July fast approaching, organizations have been signing players left and right. Recently, edit legend Symfuhny joined NRG, along with BenjyFishy from the EU side. Faze Clan signed well known controller phenoms, Sway and H1ighsky1.

Theres no question that if you follow Fortnite competitively, you know the name Morgausse. As a non-invitee to Pax West, he battled his way through multiple heats to make the Finals, where he won a life changing amount of money, $225,000 for his efforts. Ever since then he has routinely placed in the qualifiers for Solo Gauntlet’s and many other competitions.

The Pax West has also recently began to play more duos, with Lamar as his partner. At the WSOE Fortnite Tournament in late December, the duo finished 3rd. Only behind eventual Katowice duo winners ZayT and Ghost Saf, and Ceice and Elevate who took home the trophy.

Knowing how to play together and having a proven track record that they can co-exist in a lobby it wouldn’t come as a shock if this duo places in the money come World Cup. For Rogue, they get two veteran players who can compete in either solo or duo mode. The move was a no-brainer for one of the top organizations in E-Sports, even though they have failed to consistently place during Fortnite events.

During the upcoming online qualifiers that will be taking place in April and May should be the first time we see Lamar and Morgausse compete under the Rogue name.

What do you think of Rogue getting a major steal with Morgausse signing to their team? Will it lead to success? Let us know what you think in the comments!
