Fortnite Week 12 Quests are now live, and fans want to know to place seismographs on fault lines.

The latest batch of weekly quests is also the last batch for Chapter 4 Season 2. Not only must players tally up eliminations and collect Bars, but they must also complete two tasks that hint at a possible seismic event coming to end the season.

One quest challenges players to place seismographs on fault lines due to “highly unusual” seismic actively. The tagline reads, “We should monitor it closely.” Could an earthquake be coming to make way for the rumored jungle biome coming in Chapter 4 Season 3?

Here’s a breakdown of how to place seismographs on fault lines in Fortnite.

Fortnite Week 12 Quests: How to Place Seismographs on Fault Lines

First, players must travel to the three spots on the map that contain fault lines. The fault lines are cracks in the pavement or Earth that indicate something is vibrating under the surface. The fault lines can be found at these three locations:

1. Northeast of Shattered Slabs
2. Just south of Frenzy Fields
3. South of Slappy Shores

Players can hover over the quest in the “This Season” tab for an exact location. Mark the spot to easily find the area in-game.

At each spot, there will be a seismograph in the middle of the fault line. Simply interact with the object to place the seismograph. Once you have placed all three seismographs on fault lines, you will receive 25,000 XP.
