Fortnite update v24.40 is live with new Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Vese quests, weapons, and skins. Joining the Battle Royale are Miles Morales, Spider-Man 2099, and most importantly, Spider-Verse Web Shooters.

Like their previous iteration, the Web Shooters are a mobility item for players to use for rotations, as well as escaping or pushing an enemy team. The webs connect to trees, buildings, and rocks to soar you around the map.

Not only is the item vital for mobility, but it is also necessary to complete the Fortnite Week 11 Quests. The themed challenges all require the use of Web Shooters to collect extra XP and free in-game cosmetics.

So, where are the Spider-Verse Web Shooters located?

Unlike the previous Fortnite x Spider-Man collaboration, Spider-Verse Web Shooters can be found as floor loot. There are no specific spots on the map to travel to retrieve the mobility item for free.

Players who want a guaranteed way to obtain the item can travel to Slappy Shores and speak to Spider-Gwen. The new NPC walks along the roof of the tallest factory, and she sells Web Shooters for 600 Gold Bars.

You can also loot Web Shooters from fallen opponents, so if you see someone swinging along the map, push them for a chance to steal their Web Shooters.

Now that ODM Gear spawns have been greatly decreased on the map, players will need either a Kinetic Blade or Web Shooters to effectively rotate, especially in Ranked. If you are caught without a quick getaway option, your chances at a Victory Royale are slim.
