Yet another 3 CAPCOM crossovers we want in Fortnite
By Chad Porto
Fortnite has brought CAPCOM’s Resident Evil 2 into the game.
Fortnite fans can now purchase Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield if they go to the in-game store. They’re both designed off of their recent remakes and fans are loving them. They join Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine as Resident Evil characters to join the game.
They also join six Street Fighter characters, upping the number of CAPCOM properties up to at least 10. Considering the popularity of the CAPCOM brand and the number of properties they have, many fans are hoping to get more options in the near future.
So we’ve come up with several lists of CAPCOM franchises we’d like to see land in the game besides Resident Evil and Street Fighter, and here are three more popular franchises we think would work well in Fortnite.
Three more CAPCOM franchises we want in Fortnite
Monster Hunter World
Monster Hunter World is a huge game, with a dedicated fanbase. It’s among the more recent franchises to ascend to very-popular-status, and Fortnite would be wise to partner up with them. Imagine the outfits, weapons, and even better; monsters that could come into the game. Plus, this would be the perfect way to bring back Klombo.
Onimusha
Fortnite players may really love the hit game Onimusha, and if so, they’d probably love to get their hands on a Samanosuke Akechi or Jubei Yagyu outfit. The game franchise is set in feudal Japan and would fit in perfectly with the current theme of Chapter 4, Season 2, dubbed MEGA.
Mega Man
Whether you have interchangeable back blings of various Mega Man characters, or you take the iconically bad Mega Man box art to its logical conclusion, the characters of Mega Man would work so very well in Fortnite. Even if you don’t upscale their heights to fit in the game as playable outfits.
