The Reality Augments available for Chapter 4, Season 2 suck

Fortnite has changed out the Reality Augments for Chapter 4, Season 2 and they’re terrible.

Fortnite made the bold choice to vault 25 different Reality Augments from Chapter 4, Season 1 when Chapter 4, Season 2 started. And frankly, that was a terrible decision. The Reality Augments that players have now are out and out terrible. Sure, you have the Chug Cannon still but there aren’t many, if any, really game-changing perks beyond that with the recent changes.

Here are the 25 perks that fans had last season that they no longer have now;

Fortnite has to do better with the next major update and bring back many of these Reality Augments

Fortnite really screwed the pooch here. The fans who hung around from season one to two are not happy. The uniqueness and match complexity that came with the season one set of perks is gone. Players burned through gold looking for the best of the bunch and would grind to do so.

Now, players are topping out at 5,000 gold because they have no reason to spend it on anything. Why bother? Why would they spend endless gold trying to find Dignified Finish, when they can just duck in a bush for 30 seconds until the weapon is completely recharged?

The meta was so much better with the last crop of Reality Augments, and if they don’t make things right by the fans, they may lose them completely before season three can even be rolled out.
