Fortnite has vaulted a number of items for Chapter 4, Season 2

Fortnite has refreshed the item pool for Chapter 4, Season 2. They vaulted a lot of useful items, and some not-so-useful ones, allowing for more items to be added to the meta for Chapter 4, Season 2. Unlike the weapons from Chapter 4, Season 1, the items from Chapter 4, Season 1 weren’t the best.

Things like the Impulse Grenade and Shadow Bomb just didn’t have enough “oomph” to them to warrant carrying them around. When you have lackluster items, you tend to avoid them completely.

So it’s not surprising that Fortnite opted to get rid of so many of them heading into the second season of chapter four.

  • Big Bush Bomb
  • Buried Treasure
  • Port-A-Bunker
  • Shadow Bomb
  • Impulse Grenade
  • Chili Chug Splash
  • Throwable LaunchPad
  • Balloons
  • All Might Supply Drop
  • Supply Drop
  • Toolbox
  • Oathbound Chests
  • Trail Thrasher
  • Chonkers Tires
  • Cow Catchers

Not all of the items are gone from Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1 are gone

Of all the things to change from Chapter 4, Season 1 to Chapter 4, Season 2 that fans are most annoyed about may be the vehicles. The game introduced a new Tron-style cycle and a drift car but kept most of the roads the same.

Considering most players who used vehicles did so with Chonkers Off-Road Tires, it didn’t make much sense to find out that the game removed them. Thus making the vehicle meta-pool less effective, forcing more and more vehicles to avoid the grass.

Yet, they’re not all gone. There are some vehicles around the map that are still outfitted with Chonkers Off-Road Tires, including one or two of the new drift cars. You can’t outfit any of the other vehicles currently but it may be a sign that these items will come back sooner rather than later.
