What unvaulted or heisted Fortnite weapon would we want to keep?

When the season ends, what weapon do we hope sticks around?

Fortnite will be shaking up the status quo in a few weeks, ending Chapter 4, Season 1, and starting Chapter 4, Season 2. With a new season comes new expectations, new items, new weapons, and new everything. That doesn’t mean everything goes, however. Some things stay, but the game does make sure to remove some weapons, items, and the like to make way for new stuff.

This is especially true for things released during an event. Fortnite is currently going through its Most Wanted event and in doing so, has released a series of new mythic weapons, while unvaulting some older exotic weapons.

This means that one way or another, these weapons are going to be taken away from us, and it may come as early as next week or at the start of Season 2. We may even lose some of the more standard fare, like the Ex-Caliber Rifle or Shockwave Hammer.

Twitter user iFireMonkey asked an interesting question that we’re going to hop in on and answer; What weapons of the exotic or heisted mythic weapons do we hope to stay in the game?

We hope Fortnite keeps the Boom Sniper Rifle and the Heisted Run ‘N’ Gun SMG

We’re hoping that Fortnite leaves our Boom Sniper Rifle alone, and brings in the Heisted Run ‘N’ Gun SMG. The Boom Sniper Rifle simply makes sniping a bit easier. You don’t need to be perfectly accurate to damage an opponent, and if you are, you’ll tag them with a neat little bomb.

As for the SMG, if equipped, players can sprint without needing to rest. As someone who appreciates the ability to duck out of danger when things get too hot, this is the perfect weapon for me. Sometimes the best way to win a fight is not to be involved in it.
