Is this meme a true indication of how bad the Assault Rifle (SCAR) has become in Fortnite?

The assault rifle (SCAR) in Fortnite is among the more questionable weapons this season.

Have you used the Fortnite assault rifle (aka the SCAR) this season only to find it less than reliable? Well, you wouldn’t be the only one. The rifle is a fine weapon when used correctly, with a more slow methodical approach over long-range and a more rapid-fire approach in short-range encounters but it’s not exactly the most obvious of adjustments to make.

Due to that, fans have been messing up with how to use it, and in turn, having a hard time getting people eliminated with it. If you’re like me, you know that it’s sometimes the case. You also know that sometimes the dang weapon won’t miss. It’s not exactly the easiest thing to deal with.

Yet, someone on Twitter posted the perfect meme to describe what it’s like to use it in the heat of the moment when you’re not focusing on how best to use the weapon.

The meme really does capture the Fortnite experience with the rifle

While the weapon can be used more accurately if you’re patient and deliberate with it, the fact is the weapon tricks you into thinking it should be shot on a full-auto setup, because that’s what it allows you to do. So no one would blame you if you used the rifle just like that.

Slower, more deliberate action is better if you’re going to use it, but even then it can be effective at close range while using it as a full-auto weapon.

Personally, I would just go with the Cobra or SMG if you’re looking for a more accurate or faster up-close weapon. That’s just me though. If you’re looking to have a tight load-out that keeps you free of any clutter, then the SCAR may be your weapon of choice.
