Dragon Ball is coming back to Fortnite with a new collaboration this week.

Dragon Ball is coming back to Fortnite and it hasn’t even been a full year yet. First appearing in the game in August of 2022, Dragon Ball brought in four major characters; Goku, Vegeta, Bulma and Beerus. Not only did they come to the game, but the Nimbus Cloud item and the Kamahamaha Blast mythic weapon came in as well.

It turned the game upside down for a while. It was a huge crossover for the brand, and did great numbers, elevating it to one of Fortnite’s only months in 2022 where they saw a gain in fans to the game.

Now, just five-ish months later, Fortnite and Dragon Ball are doing it again with a second round of cosmetic releases to the game, and likely a return of the mythic items. Fortnite will be bringing back the Dragon Ball crossover, complete with (potentially) four new outfits on Jan. 31, 2023.

Is anyone confirmed for this Dragon Ball crossover?

We know that Fortnite will likely bring in four new costumes with the crossover, at least if the Naruto crossover is anything to go off of, as they had two sets of four unique characters come to the game (eight total). So Dragon Ball will likely do that, and according to some leakers, we know that two of the names are going to be Gohan and Piccolo.

It’s unknown who the other two names are, as they could be anyone at this point, considering Beerus was not exactly an expected name in the first drop of names. So someone like Jiren could certainly pop up.

Fans should also say goodbye to the Deku Smash mythic when Dragon Ball arrives again, as the two weapons are very similar in their execution. Although, it’d be cool to see them used against one another.
