Battle Breaker is getting shut down but that doesn’t mean Fortnite fans have to say goodbye forever.

Some Fortnite fans may not be all that familiar with the soon-to-be-defunct mobile game Battle Breaker. It’s a tactical role-playing game that was created by Epic Games. It never caught on the same way as Fortnite, though what can, but it had its own fan base and players really seemed to enjoy the game.

Word came out not long back that the folks at Epic Games would be shuttering the game at the end of the month, closing out the game after just a few years on the market. Having launched in November of 2019, it lasted just three years before Epic Games pulled the plug on it.

During that time, it probably never met the quotas needed to keep the game going but it did get popular enough to bring over some characters from the Battle Breakers to Fortnite. Two of the more popular characters appeared with Razor and Kurohomura popping up in the Fortnite Store.

Kurohomura even popped up in Fortnite: Save the World, and that would be a wonderful avenue to bring over more Battle Breaker characters so they’re not lost to time.

Battle Breaker characters could be an interesting addition to Save the World

Fortnite has got to find a way to make Save the World more than it is. It’s a bit sad that they have let such a key aspect of the game’s base go by the wayside, and an infusion of new storylines, or even just new characters to play as, could be all the game needs to see the player base tick up.

It wouldn’t be hard to do, and it would help make the game something worth playing again. Or you could just bring the characters to the store as costumes that fans can buy.
