Fortnite is giving fans a chance to earn another free outfit this Witnerfest

Fortnite has another new cosmetic to get for Winterfest.

Fortnite’s Winterfest is well underway, with 14 days of free gifts that you can unlock between Dec. 13 and Jan 3. Fans of the game can get new cosmetics, wraps, and outfits for doing nothing other than signing in. Fans of PC GAming, however, can earn another new free item for no extra charge.

For fans who launch Fortnite via the Epic Games store, you can now get the Guff Gringle Outfit for free. All you have to do is go onto Fortnite via the Epic Games launcher on PC during Winterfest and redeem the free character.

The offer to get Guff is available until the end of Winterfest, on Jan. 3 at 9 AM. But, what happens if you want the outfit but don’t use the Epic Games Store Launcher? Well, if you don’t want to go through the hassle of using the Epic Game Store and you still want the outfit, there’s a workaround.

How to get Guff Gringle for free on Fortnite without the Epic Games Store

If you’re not familiar with it by now, there is a new service called GeForce Now by Nvidia. You can use Nvidia’s GeForce Now service via your laptop, desktop phone, tablet, or even television if you have a SHIELD, Samsung, or LG smart television.

The two best ways are either through your phone or via the browser version, which you can access on Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

I used Edge, personally and was able to log into my account, link it to my Epic Games account and gain access to the game with relative ease. The interface is smooth, there’s no real lag to speak of, and the ease of entry and exit is very quick.

Plus you can get access to a free cosmetic that will transfer over to your account. It’s pretty painless.
