How to earn new the Herald and Ayida items, as well as Pickle Rick

Are you hunting for new items in Fortnite? Well, The Herald, Ayida, and the Horde Rush challenges can help you with that.

Fortnite isn’t exactly known for its free goodies. They do give them out, every so often but they don’t always come thru with the quality fans deserve. Sometimes you have to pay for items to further get free items. It isn’t ideal but it is what it is.

The following three situations where you can unlock stuff aren’t all free, some require a previous purchase, which we’ll note next to the challenges.

if you do engage in the quests below, you can unlock various accessories ranging from Battle Pass pages, to new cosmetics and even Pickle Rick of Rick and Morty himself. So keep in mind that if you want to do the Herald’s Challenges, you’ll need the Battle Pass. If you want to do the Ayida quests, you’ll need her outfit and for Pickle Rick, you just have to play horde rush.

• Eliminate 2 opponents at airborne locations
• Unlocks the Heraldic Wrap
• Land at Herald’s Sanctum and place top 10 in the match
• Unlocks the Burning Ember Style for The Herald Outfit

Ayida’s Level Up Quest Pack (Ayida outfit required)

Complete 24 quests (seven quests every week for four weeks), to unlock various cosmetics.

• Week 1 – Unlock the Dragon charge Back Bling (Already started)
• Week 2 – Unlock the Dragon’s Honor Item Wrap (Starts Nov. 9 at 8 AM ET)
• Week 3 – Unlock the Thunderous Yari Pickaxe (Starts Nov. 16 at 8 AM ET)
• Week 4- Unlock the Pen and Ink Style outfit (Starts Nov. 23 at 8 AM ET)

Horde Rush Quests (No purchase necessary)

• Collect score multipliers (20)
• Deal melee damage to Cube Monster spawners (6,000)
• Earn combined team points (2,000,000)
• Earn a Team Score of at least 350,000 in a single match (350,000)
• Earn an x50 KO Streak (1)
• Eliminate Cube Monsters (500)
• Eliminate ranged Cube Monsters with Sideways weapons (100)
• Get headshots on Cube Monsters in a single match (70)
• Open chests in Horde Rush (45)
