The Inkquisitor is Fortnite’s Crew Pack outfit for November.

Fortnite’s Crew Pack is among the best value for your buck that a fan can get. By subscribing to the Crew Pack, you get at least one new and original character design for just $11.99. That’s not all you get. You also get 1,000 V-Bucks for free, each month, as well as access to each new season’s Battle Pass for no additional charges.

Usually, that is. the last few months have given fans some wild and unique designs, but November fell on its face. The character of the Inkquisitor was a secret boss in the latest Fortnitemares event, summoned at the bottom of the new POI Grim Gable.

His design wasn’t great as a boss fight but you at least could see what they were trying to do. The character design was fine, just not great. That was before it was revealed that the character would be the Crew Pack outfit for November. The character is plain looking, with very little detail and a look that is rather forgettable considering past outfits. The sad thing is, it didn’t have to be this way.

The loading Screen art makes The Inkquisitor far more impressive

If you look at the loading screen design for the Inkquisitor, you can see what the character could have looked like with a better design team. It isn’t the best outfit possible, but the loading screen at least has more details and a bit more vibrant style.

The wild and waving tentacles really give this character more personality, as opposed to the more hair-like tentacles on the character that he currently has. The red face is a nice touch but it doesn’t go far enough and had they done a better job prioritizing more color, maybe the mundane design wouldn’t be so obvious.
