Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3 was rough but it had its moments for sure.
Fortnite is finally getting ready to end the third season of chapter 3 and replace the season of Vibin with the season of Paradise. An ironic title if the promos are any indication. The season is going to feature a metallic goo and it seems it’s going to be a huge hindrance for the players in the upcoming season.
So the next season should be very interesting. This is good because the new season has to be better than season three. Fans were so burnt out by the last season that the game lost over 13 million players over the course of the summer.
That doesn’t mean the season was without any positives, as it absolutely was. We’ve been very clear with how we feel about the latest season, it wasn’t very good. Yet, we do want to tip our cap to some of the better elements of the season, to which we found three.
Three things we liked from Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3
Naruto’s second wave
The second wave of Naruto arrived just after the start of the season, and fans were excited about it. The second wave of characters included Hinata, Gaara, Itachi, and Orochimaru and while they were the A-tier guys they got in the first wave, fans of the series were more than happy to add to their collection.
Dragon Ball crossover
Naruto wasn’t the only top-tier anime franchise to show up this season, as Dragon Ball also came in and did so with a lot of gusto. The crossover saw Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, and Beerus arrive in the game, as well as the Kamehahama blast and Nimbus mythics.
Fire with Fire Week
The season’s last big event was the Fire with Fire event that is going on as of press time. The game mode sees the return of several flame weapons in the form of the Dragon Breath’s Shotgun and the Fire bow. The addition of the Fire bow has made it so much easier to burn things down and trap players in a ring of fire. It’s been awesome.
