Fortnite fans can now get three Destiny 2 characters in the shop.

The season of crossover is upon us in the world of Fortnite. From Dragon Ball to Patrick Mahomes and now even Destiny 2, fans have a load of options on what to invest their time and money on. Destiny 2, or specifically the Destiny franchise, exploded in popularity with the last generation of consoles.

Developed by Bungie, Destiny was seen by many as the “Halo of a new generation”. Lofty claims but considering Bungie was the group that developed Halo originally, the expectations were justified by those fans. Destiny has found its place in the world, but it’s never matched the hype of Halo.

That doesn’t mean it’s a bad game franchise, it’s just not the new-era Halo people were expecting. all in all, it’s a viable game, and fans of Fortnite are very excited to have it as part of their expanding multi-verse. Yet, of the three costumes added to the game, which ones are the best?

Ranking the Destiny 2 character designs that joined Fortnite

3. Ikora Rey

As someone who’s never played Destiny or its sequel, I know nothing about how these characters are, only how they look and Ikora Rey seems pretty noble but she’s coming in last of the three because she feels more like a politician than super-badass-space-explorer.

2. Commander Zavala

The armor that Commander Zavala wears is uninspired, looking like any generic space suit found in a game like Warhammer. The elevated shield on his left shoulder is dope. Yet, I’m wondering why Destiny just slapped Dr. Manhatten’s head on this body.

1. Exo Stranger

Even those not familiar with the franchise will know who the Exo Stranger is. The name is generic, but the look isn’t. The Exo Stranger’s look is one of the most common images used on promotional work since the game’s launch and for good reason. It’s unique, draws attention, and screams “space badass”.
