League of Legends will be crossing over with Fortnite soon.

We mention it all the time, Fortnite is the king of crossovers. They’re not just a juggernaut when it comes to the world of crossovers either, when it comes to the kings of video games, especially the multi-person, online format, very few games can match the might of Fortnite. One game that can, however, is League of Legends.

The game may have a spot-on name that is more about the characters that make up the game than anything, but the name “legends” really does match the game’s profile in the greater gaming world. The game is among the highest profiled properties out there and they have its own large following.

So it’s no surprise at all that Fortnite and League of Legends are hooking up for their own crossover. It’s going to be a mighty crossover that fans of both aren’t going to want to miss. Unlike other crossovers, like with Fall Guys, where it was just cosmetic accessories that were added, this League of Legends X Fortnite crossover will see the League of Legends character is Mel.

A data miner by the name of Hypex, who’s fairly reliable in the world of leaks, was the one to break this on Twitter, claiming two other sources have shared and corroborated their findings.

This is not the first time League of Legends and Fortnite have crossed over.

This isn’t the first time the two characters have crossed over. Mel will join other existing characters in Jinx and Vi as League of Legend characters that have come over to Fortnite as costumes.

Not only is Mel going to get her own set, but fans of both games will likely get a shot at getting Jinx and Vi again, as Fortnite has a habit of re-releasing past costumes when they’re part of a bigger brand.

Next. DC Characters are back in the Fortnite Store and that means we’re ranking them. dark
