Ranking the Naurto costumes from both Wave 1 and Wave 2

We’re ranking the Naruto costumes you can get in the Fortnite store!

Are you enjoying the Fortnite costumes in the store currently? They’re some of the more anticipated crossovers of some time and the fact they got two waves within less than a full year of one another is proof of that.

Yet, not all costumes are created the same. Some are great, some aren’t. That’s just the nature of the beast. With these being based on the anime, it’s less about originality or even accuracy and more about personal preference.

These are all pretty decent renditions of the anime costumes. So while we concede that the costumes all look spot on and accurate, that doesn’t mean they’re all great to look at.

8. Orochimaru

Yes, as a villain Orochimaru isn’t supposed to be the most likable character but we thought his base costume of just a smock and a purple belt thing was way too basic. He may be one of the biggest bads in the franchise but his design is just meh.

7. Sakura Haruno

It’s the zip-up hoody and weird skorts combo that does it in. It’s just so, basic.

6. Itachi Uchiha

His long overcoat may make more sense in the anime but in Fortnite, it’s really just an obstacle to seeing a well-designed character.

5. Gaara

Same issue but not as bad. Having a chest protector helps Gaara stand out as opposed to Uchiha.

4. Hinata Hyuga

While Hyuga feels more like Bulma from Dragon Ball Z, she does have a nice jacket and thigh pouch that does help her stand out.

3. Sasuke Uchiha

Sasuke stands out with his design. The colors seem to really compliment him and he feels more combative in nature and since that’s the point of Fortnite he really does fit in well.

2. Naruto Uzumaki

Naruto is a classic, and his look really makes him feel modern while embracing traditional Japanese tradition.

1. Kakashi Hatake

He’s a ninja wearing a vest. Come on.
