Fortnite and Dead by Daylight may be joining forces soon.

When it comes to video games, there aren’t many on the scale of Fortnite right now. That’s just how it is. One of the ones that have found their own niche, if you will, is Dead by Daylight. If you’re not familiar with the game, it’s a first-person game where you’re basically in the middle of a monster movie.

One group of players are the survivors who are tasked with trying to survive the night and escape the area the match is taking place in. Then on the other side is the lone player who’s playing as the monster. Their goal is to stop the players from escaping by any means necessary.

It’s kinda the Fortnite of the monster-survival game genre. There are some name-brand ones like the Friday the 13th Game and the new Evil Dead game, but this takes a different approach by bringing in known monsters into their game. This allows the game to crossover with whatever is hot and popular and not be shoehorned by just one monster or franchise.

So it makes sense they’d crossover with Fortnite, but what exactly is coming to the game?

Dead by Daylight and Fortnite crossing over?

Twitter user FireMonkey revealed that the two sides are discussing a crossover, and EuroGamer seems to hint the character model of Meg Thomas will be the outfit used in the upcoming crossover, assuming it happens.

It’s hard to say if this crossover is happening for sure, as we’re still waiting on the Family Guy crossover that was supposedly coming in Chapter 3, Season 3, and has yet to arrive.

More than likely, if this does end up happening, it’ll come around October, like the Resident Evil outfits did the year before.
