Fortnite x Naruto will see a new wave of character designs for the game

Fortnite x Naruto wave 2 is coming to Fortnite soon.

There’s always a new crossover or something that Fortnite is working on. Whether it’s comics, science-fiction, the NBA, or whatever is trending at the time. Fortnite is really great at these crossovers, and they know how to reach beyond the United States perspective.

So it’s not surprising that Fortnite is teaming back up with a major anime franchise once again.

Fortnite posted a new tweet on June 15 that revealed a long-standing rumor is actually coming to fruition; another round of Naruto characters is coming to Fortnite. Dubbed Fortnite x Naruto, the second wave is set to come to the franchise soon, and will be nicknamed “Rivals”.

The new wave is coming on June 23, so a little over a week away.

What Naruto characters have already arrived in Fortnite?

The first time around the crossover produced four characters for the Fortnite x Naruto crossover. They were arguably the four most popular characters from the franchise, making the new crop a mystery unless they want to re-use some of the characters.

The four characters from the first set were Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uhiha, Kakasahi Hatake and Sakura Haruno. They were released on November 16, 2021, and cost 1,500 V-Bucks individually or 2,100 V-Bucks for the Naruto and Kakashi Bundle, and 2,200 V-Bucks for the Sasuke and Sakura Bundle.

All told they came with 25 different items when you got all four and it’s more than likely that the same types of bundles will be available for fans for the second set.

The characters weren’t the only things added, as a glider based on Kurama from the series, was also made available for 1,200 V-Bucks or if you completed the Nindo Challenges.

Fans also got the Shinobi Gear Bundle as well for 1,500 V-Bucks, and you can expect something similar to arrive in over a week when the next set arrives.
