Fortnite crosses over with everyone, even clothing lines like Balenciaga and Timberland.

If you’re new to this whole Fortnite thing, you may not be aware that Epic Games branded video game crosses over with everyone. Literally, if you have a product, the Epic Games brand will try and collaborate with you. From comics to movies to cars and yes, even clothing lines.

In September of 2021, Fortnite teamed up with Balenciaga, a fashion brand from Spain, to release several new characters wearing the brand’s fashion designs. They were, relatively popular, but there’s not a lot of crossover between the average player and Balenciaga.

After all, the game is free to play and Balenciaga sells $1,300 jeans. That doesn’t even fit. There really isn’t a lot of mutual interest from one side to another, one would imagine.

Fortnite teaming up with Timberland

Fans of the Balenciaga look can get the outfits in the Fortnite store for a limited time. Yet, if you’re hoping for something a bit more “every man” and less “fashionista”. Timberland is mostly known as a brand for work boots, but they also have their own clothing line and while their clothes aren’t cheap, they aren’t nearly as expensive as other fashion lines that Epig Games has worked with.

The collaboration between the two brands appears to be new landmarks you can find in creator maps. Three landmarks were made out of the creative options in Fortnite and placed on various maps with the theme of each landmark being a Timberland boot.

The developers used an ice region, a desert region, and a forest region to create the boots and as you can see in the video above, they’re quite interesting.

This is clearly a way to get people excited about an eventual crossover with Timberland, though no cosmetics have been announced just yet.
