Catch up on the storyline between The Seven and the Imagined Order

New fans of Fortnite may not know the full details of the story so far.

If you’re new to Fortnite you may have no idea what’s going on in the game’s storyline. Heck, you may not even know there is a storyline if you’re only playing the battle royale mode. I assure you, however, that there is a storyline.

The crux of the angle involves The Imagined Order, a super-secret and evil organization, which is trying to control the island and the secrets that it holds. The Seven, however, are trying to free the island from their control and save all the various realities that connect through it.

Yet, how did we get here? Well, thanks to Top 5 Gaming, you can now take several years worth of lore and gameplay, and boil them down to just one, semi-short, YouTube video.

Fortnite’s lore is deeper than you can imagine

When I first started playing Fortnite, I had no idea there was such an extensive backstory to the game. Why would I? I thought it was just a bunch of players eliminating each other over and over again like something akin to the early days of PUBG: Battlegrounds.

Boy, I was wrong.

The story is pretty deep and involved and if you’re not looking for details and notes in-game during matches, you’re going to miss out a lot. So while it’s always good to explore as much as you can when you can in the game, these videos from people like Top 5 Gaming are pretty helpful in helping catch people up.

So if you’re new to the world of Fortnite and need help keeping all the facts and narratives in place, these videos are going to help you out a lot. I’ve tried exploring the game myself but since I’ve been playing the game for less than a year, there are details and facts that I’d be oblivious to, mostly because I don’t know all the little nods just yet to past events.
