The Siege Cannon is a brand new mounted weapon in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2. It’s also a great way to get around the Island if you launch yourself from one. Here’s the fastest and easiest ways to find a Siege Cannon in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.

A Siege Cannon looks like a big mounted gun. You can find them on the outskirts of POIs, but the easiest way to get to a Siege Cannon is to land on an IO Blimp.

These large blimps will appear over POIs. Landing on one puts you into enemy territory, but there’s lots of loot to be had. Once you’re done looting, how do you get down without building or a launch pad?

You can take either a zipline or the fan’s draft, but my favorite way is to get launched.

That’s where the Siege Cannon comes in. Find them on the platforms on the sides of the blimp, and interact with them. Pressing the fire button launches a shell, but aiming-down-sights loads your character into it.

From here, you can aim and launch yourself across the map. You can deploy your glider to get some extra distance, or you can make an impact and deal damage when you hit the ground. You don’t take damage this way.

If you’re using the Siege Cannon to traverse long distances, aim higher. When your character reaches the apex of the parabola, pull out your glider.

Landing on IO Blimps is a great way to score some early loot, and the Siege Cannon is ideal for getting back to the circle no matter where it spawns.

You’ll also need to launch yourself 150 meters from a Siege Cannon for a Quest, so you can take this opportunity to score an easy boost of XP for your Battle Pass.
