The Concept Royale contest returns to Fortnite for 2022

Fans of Fortnite can once again submit their designs for the Concept Royale.

Fans of Fortnite need to get their creativity flowing as the Concept Royale contest is back for 2022! The contest will see two new character designs join the Fortnite family for fans to purchase, and anyone can enter.

The two winners of the contest will have their concepts debut as an outfit in the Fortnitemares event in October. They’ll need to be purchased like most other outfits in Fortnite.

To enter the 2022 Concept Royale, go to Twitter or Instagram and post your design under the #ConceptRoyaleContest2022. Both the winners will be rewarded $2,500 if their design is chosen. Fans have until April 5, 11:59 PM ET to submit their designs. It’s also one entry per fan.

Submission Guidelines:

"The Submission must include the hashtag #ConceptRoyaleContest2022 in the title and be directly accessible by Sponsor."

"The Submission must be shared on Instagram, and/or Twitter."

"The Submission must be in .jpg or .png format."

"The Submission should not require any additional software to run."

"The Submission must not contain material that violates or infringes any rights of any other party, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or any other intellectual property rights;"

"The Submission must include original content only, achieved/created by the person who submits the entry. Entrants may not copy or otherwise plagiarize Submissions from any source (this is inclusive of, but not limited to, concept art), nor may Submissions include third-party copyrighted material or artwork without the copyright holder’s permission;"

"The Submission must not disparage Sponsor or any other person or party;"

"The Submission must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene hateful,tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous;"

"The Submission must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;"

"The Submission must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations of the Eligible Jurisdiction or of any jurisdiction where Submission is created or submitted; and"

"The Submission must be consistent with the image and values of Sponsor and be consistent with and satisfy the purpose of the Contest"

How are selections chosen?

The selections will be chosen off of three categories, that range from 1 to 5 points per category. So you can earn as little as three points or as much as 15 points. The parameters are below.

1. Unique Use of Theme
2. Fun Factor
3. Overall Visuals

As you can see, the creators from last year’s contest really put in some interesting ideas for the contest and rightfully won. It’s going to be interesting to see what some fans are submitting and we may even highlight some of our own.
