Fortnite is bringing in Nathan Drake of Uncharted fame

Nathan Drake of Uncharted fame is coming to Fortnite.

Fans haven’t gotten them yet, but you better believe that Uncharted is in fact coming to Fortnite this week. The action icon from the PS3 and PS4 era of video games is set to debut with the Fortnite crew on Feb. 17, 2022, just ahead of his arrival on the big screens.

The movie version of Uncharted will see Tom Holland take up the role of Nathan Drake, despite the fact Drake looks to be in his late-20s and early-30s, and Holland is as baby-faced as baby-faced goes.

The news of Drake’s arrival is coming from various sources but we got the word from Polygon, who claims a delisted video spoiled the debut. The character models include a classic version of the character, plus the Holland-version of Drake from the movie. Joining Drake is Chloe, both from the game and the film.

The characters will include two different pickaxes, a “Second Hand Saber” and a “Parashurama Axe”, as well as Sully’s Seaplane Glider, an “Update Journal ” emote, and specific character back bling for Chloe.

If you’ve been playing Fortnite since Chapter 3 started, you know that this isn’t Tom Holland’s first foray as a character in Fortnite, having appeared before as Spider-Man as part of the Spider-Man: No Way Home update.

That update saw not only various Spider-Man outfits but also the use of the legendary item; the web slingers. The game also introduced the Daily Bugle and some surrounding skyscrapers to really help flush out the map a bit more.

Who knows what else will pop up when Nathan Drake and the Uncharted bunch hop into the game on Feb. 17, but if Fortnite is known for anything, it’s known for surprising fans with new things. So who knows what else may follow.
