Going crazy looking for that Concert Coin? Got 20 minutes to kill? Here’s how to collect the Concert Coins for the Soundwave Series quests.

Where are Concert Coins in Fortnite?

The Concert Coin you’re looking for isn’t in the

normal Battle Royale

mode. You’re going to want to head into the Soundwave Series: Tone and I Creative game mode. You can find this in the “By Epic” tab when you switch modes. Right now, it should be featured alongside the familiar Solo, Duos, Trios and Squads modes.

It doesn’t matter how you queue in, as the game mode is just a virtual concert followed by a short interactive section. Sit through the 20 minute show, and then follow the notes. You’ll end up in a hole where you’ll have to follow more notes until you get to the Concert Coin.

Collecting one Concert Coin earns you the commemorative Soundwave Series – Tones and I Spray, and collecting one more by participating again earns you a hefty sum of XP. Twenty minutes sounds like a long time to wait, but you’ll get to enjoy some new music and earn some rewards. It’s the second run for XP that’ll feel like a bit of a slog, especially if you’re not into the songs.

Queue in, set a timer for 20 minutes and go make some pizza rolls.

If you dig the music, you can actually buy Cloudy Day from the Item Shop as a Lobby Track and Dance Monkey as an Emote for 200 and 300 V-Bucks respectively.

You can also watch the show with a Picture-in-Picture function while you play other modes, but you won’t be able to participate in the interactive section to earn the Concert Coin this way.

The Show runs until January 24, so don’t miss the free Spray and some XP if you need it.
