Where are the Seismometers in Fortnite?

If you’ve been taking advantage of the Power Leveling Weekend or just catching up on missed Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 Quests, you’ll eventually need to locate seismometers and collect readings from them. Here’s where to find them quickly and easily.

Where are the Seismometers in Fortnite?

Your Quest starts right after you receive your objective from The Scientist at Logjam Lumberyard. The Scientist will task you with getting readings from three seismometers in the area. Luckily, you won’t have to travel far to find them.

There are several seismometers scattered throughout the cold northwest of the Island, but you only need to find three of them. There are two near Logjam Lumberyard where you Quest began, one northeast and one southwest at the base of the hills and mountains.

From here, you can head to any number of Landmarks nearby to find them. The easiest ones to get are at Llama Homestead, Pinnacle Peak and Wreck Ravine. You’re looking for a glowing blue apparatus with a little radar dish and a pipe frame. They’re easy to spot amid the white, snow covered ground.

You should have plenty of time to locate the three you need before the first circle forms, but you should still work quickly and head towards the center when it’s time to rotate.

All you need to do is interact with three of them in one match to complete the Quest. Once you’ve got the last one, you’ll get a nice 25,000 XP for your troubles.

While you’re in the Logjam Lumberyard area, there are a few other easy Quests to complete. Knock down some Timber Pines and harvest some wood at the Lumberyard proper for another 25,000 XP each if you haven’t already. The Timber Pines are one of the goofier mechanics this Season, and I recommend checking them out and having some fun.
