A new Chapter in Fortnite is here, and this inaugural first Season has what I think is one of the strongest Battle Passes yet. There’s tons of great skins for every type of player, so let’s take a look and rank the skins in our Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 Battle Pass review.

Left to right: Harlowe, Gumbo, Shanta, The Foundation, Ronin, Haven, Lt. John Llama. Spidey’s there, too.

Honorable Mention: Spiderman

I leave these big-budget, ultra popular crossover characters in their own space. Believe it or not, there are some people who don’t care for Spiderman. We’ve had obtrusive crossovers in the past (looking at you C2S4), but Epic Games has hit a good stride when it comes to them now.

They’re either the “secret” skin or the last page of the Battle Pass, so they’re entirely optional. It’s great if you love the characters, and Spiderman does look spectacular. The only weird thing about him is that his Back Bling has his mask hanging out, though you could give them to another skin and pretend they’re Spidey on the weekends.

7- Haven

Haven is unfortunately rather boring. She’s this Season’s “customizable” outfit, and you’ll be unlocking masks for to wear. With some better customizable skins in the same Battle Pass, Haven falls off pretty quickly.

6- Ronin

This samurai is a classic design, if not a little uninspired. He’s a fairly standard Cyperpunk street-samurai, but a solidly built one for those who like the look. There is one thing that bothers me about Ronin, however.

His swords are on the wrong way. Katanas are sheathed curving upward to prevent wear on the blade’s edge.

5- Harlowe

There’s something about Harlowe that I really like. The alien punk design looks great as a whole, and I can see lots of players maining this skin. She has tons of customizable parts, with two options for her shirt, pants, shoes and helmet. She has even more color options too, letting you customize her racing suit to be exactly how you like it.
