Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 has been going on for quite some time now, but there’s still something promised we haven’t seen yet. When does Superman come out in Fortnite? It seems like it’s been forever, but the Man of Steel is set to arrive next week.

When does Superman come out in Fortnite?

Superman is scheduled for release on August 12, right when Week 10 kicks off. You will, of course, need the Battle Pass if you don’t already have it. Grab it for 950 V-Bucks or with your Crew membership. Don’t worry about saving up Battle Stars, as Superman is on of those “secret” Battle Pass skins.

Like previous secret Battle Pass skin, Supes will come with a set of Quests to be completed as Clark Kent in order to unlock his other style. Clark Kent will be rewarded to you after completing some quests given by CD NPCs, like Clark Kent himself, Armored Batman and Beast Boy. Other rewards also include all of his associated accessories like his Back Bling and Pickaxe.

The normal Clark Kent skin transforms into Superman with a built-in emote, which you’ll need to unlock. Luckily, the Quests don’t seem to be too difficult as most of them just have you complete other Quests for progress.

There is one quest that might be a sick joke from one of the Epic Games devs: gliding through rings as Clark Kent. If you weren’t around in the Nintendo 64 era, this may be a reference to the infamous Superman 64 game. It was notorious for its gameplay mostly consisting of Superman flying through rings. Superman 64 has gone down in history as one of the worst games of all time.

Fortnite should do the Man of Steel more justice, to say the least.

The Superman tag on the Battle Pass page has been taunting use for almost a month and a half now. It’s not that unprecedented if we look at previous secret Battle Pass rewards like Deadpool, who took two months to show up. Ten weeks is longer than that, and feels even longer considering Aquaman and Neymar Jr. arrived only a month after their Battle Passes launched.
