Hot on the heels of Superman, Wonder Woman comes to Fortnite and rounds out the DC Trinity. Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite Wonder Woman skin.
This week has been heavy with new crossover skins. A second round of Street Fighter, Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy and now another DC skin in Wonder Woman.
Fortnite: Wonder Woman completes DC Trinity
The outfit comes with a full suite of accessories, including the Golden Eagle Wings Glider, Athena’s Battleaxe, Diana’s Mantle Back Bling and a pretty sweet looking DC Trinity Loading Screen.
The Mantle Back Bling has an alternate style that’s yet to be revealed, and Wonder Woman herself will have an Armored style. My guess is that the Back Bling goes with this Armored look.
How to get the Fortnite Wonder Woman Skin
Like Gamora, there will be a tournament for a chance to get her early. The Wonder Woman Cup will be a Duos tournament on August 18. Play 10 matches in three hours to earn points. Place high enough and you’ll get the Wonder Woman outfit and Back Bling. If you score at least eight points, you’ll get the Honorary Amazons loading screen for your troubles.
What I find unusual about this set of three skins is that they’re all obtained in different ways. Batman was our first, released in a cash bundle. Superman just released as this season’s secret Battle Pass skin. Now, Wonder Woman is a normal Item Shop release. If you ever wanted all three of these iconic DC characters, you’ll have to get the Battle Pass or risk missing out on it.
If the different versions of Batman are anything to go by, it’s not out of the question to see other versions of these iconic DC heroes. But, if you want the Trinity in their most classic incarnation, you’ll need to get the Battle Pass now for Superman, wait for the Batman Caped Crusader bundle to come back and go for Wonder Woman when she arrives August 19.
