Fortnite: How To Complete Out Of Time Challenges Moisty And Greasy

The second set of Out Of Time challenges became available earlier today in Fortnite as part of Season 10’s overtime challenges. Jump into the game to grab these rewards before Season 11 starts this Sunday, October 13 at 2 PM EDT.

As we all know, Season 10 of Fortnite Battle Royale is ending this weekend. Epic Games has dropped some last minute challenges to keep us busy before the big rocket launch and live event. At 2 PM EDT this Sunday, the rocket, presumably built by the Visitor, will launch taking us into the new Season 11.

The first missions in the Out Of Time challenges were to find audio tapes left by the Visitor in Retail Row and the Floating Island. The second mission released yesterday was to simply deal 2,500 damage to opponents. The next two missions were released today from Fortnite and also include finding two more audio tapes left behind by the Visitor. These tapes and the Visitor both appear to be a major part of the storyline unfolding this weekend culminating with the rocket launch from Dusty Depot.

Where To Find The Visitor’s Recordings

The first recording left by the Visitor can be found in Moist Palms, which is a new POI introduced in Season 10. As the names implies, this area is a mix between Paradise Palms and the old favorite POI Moisty Mire. This location is in the south/eastern area of the map.

When approaching Moisty Palms, make sure to land on top of the tall, white brick motel at the entrance to the desert city. Once you land on the top floor, you will see the yellow audio tape sitting on the ledge next to the stairwell taking you down into the motel.

The next recording can be found in Greasy Grove, an old POI that has been brought back this season with a twist. The town is now in a taco frenzy raining tacos down on everyone every minute or so. These tacos do provide a benefit to players though. They will give you 10 health or shield when eaten, and they give you a speed boost for quite some time. In addition, during the time that you are immobile and tacos are raining down on you, your health will fill back up if it is under 100. Those are some tasty tacos.

When you land in Greasy, head over to the Taco Shop. You can’t miss it. The shop has a large taco on the top of the building. When you enter from the front of the building, head to the back but on the right hand side. Right before you get to the bathroom doors, and just behind the counter area on the right, you will see the yellow audio tape sitting on the table of one of the booths.

Outlast Opponents

This mission is fairly straight forward. You must outlive 250 opponents in the game. If you try and complete this one in Team Rumble, it may take you a while. You will only get credit for the number of players remaining at the end of the enemy team. Typically, there is always some fall-off, and there could be just 15 or so players left standing at the end.

Your better option is to drop into a solo, duo, or squad match. The longer you stay alive, the more outlasted opponents will count towards this mission. Hang in there. After just a few rounds of play, you will have this challenge complete.

Rewards For Completing Out Of Time Challenges

By completing all six of the challenges, you will be rewarded with a ton of player XP, a new loading screen, and extra style options. The loading screen rewarded is the infamous Season 10 showcase art highlighting all of the skins available in this season’s Battle Pass.

The player XP rewarded for completing all six challenges is a whooping 35,000 XP. That’s a ton of XP for those that need to boost up tiers to finish off the season. Each of the first two challenges only grant a combined 5,000 XP to players. The later challenges offer much more XP.

The most exciting part of the overtime challenges are the additional style options available for the Season 10 Battle Pass skins. Yond3r gets a solid gold outfit, Sparkle Supreme gets a reverse disco outfit, and the External Voyager gets a red and gold version of his skin. Not too bad for a little work.
