In honor of Star Wars Day, Fortnite released an update that introduced the DC-15 Blaster Rifle and three different Lightsabers. Although each weapon has its perks, we are here to tell you the best Fortnite Lightsaber.

Players can only obtain a Lightsaber if they train with Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Maul, or Anakin Skywalker. Unlike in previous collaborations, Lightsabers can no longer be found in chests or floor loot. Look for the green, red, and blue icons on the map and travel to the Rift Gates to emerge with a Lightsaber.

The red Lightsaber, granted by Darth Maul, is the best Fortnite Lightsaber. Wielding the weapon gives you the power to lift objects from your surroundings and throw them at enemies. The Force is especially helpful if the enemy player is in a building; simply throw boulders at the structure and watch the player tumble to the ground.

Also, if you manage to hit an enemy with an object, you will inflict decent damage to their overall health. As the Lightsaber cools down, quickly switch to another weapon and eliminate the now weakened player.

The red Rift Gates disappear quite quickly, so make sure to keep an eye on your map. Driving to Darth Maul as soon as the icon appears is the best way to ensure you will get the red Lightsaber.

If you do not have the opportunity to get your hands on the best Fortnite Lightsaber, the green and blue ones are still powerful in their own right. The green Lightsaber from Obi-Wan Kenobi lets you push objects and players away from you, while the blue Lightsaber from Anakin Skywalker lets you pull objects and players toward you.

You will also be able to jump higher and sprint faster with a Lightsaber out, so as long as they are in the game, make sure to always have one in your inventory.
