Fortnite is getting spooky in Chapter 4, Season 2 with the arrival of Resident Evil 2 characters.

Attack on Titan is joining Fortnite in Chapter 4, Season 2 with the arrival of their lead character Eren Yaeger, who is rumored to be a part of the Battle Pass. The show is about giant, man-eating monsters dubbed titans, who feast on the little humans of a small country.

It’s pretty similar in concept to a show about zombies, but the zombies in question are giant man-eating troll creatures with a deep and complex backstory. It’s ironic that this pseudo-war, horror anime is getting the Fortnite treatment, as they’re not the only horror icon getting it either.

Joining Attack on Titan in season two of Fortnite’s fourth chapter are apparently going to be Resident Evil characters. Not just any Resident Evil Characters, mind you, but that of Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield.

The stars of Resident Evil 2 will presumably have their RE2 Remake outfits on and will be released, also presumably, with the prior two characters, Chris Redfield, Claire’s brother, and Jill Valentine, Chris’ partner.

The Resident Evil 2 crossover with Fortnite was long over-due

The Resident Evil 1 characters popped up in late 2021 for the first time, and ever since then, fans have been hoping to see their RE 2 counterparts come in as well. We’re excited that they have, but now we’re a bit concerned.

We always hoped that if there was another Resident Evil crossover with Fortnite that it would include a massive Racoon PD point of interest for fans to explore and the inclusion of some family-friendly looking zombies.

It seems unlikely that we’ll get that, as the Attack on Titan collab seems to be the bigger focus, and it seems unlikely they would do a duel cross-branded pairing. They kinda did with My Hero Academia and Dragon Ball, but that wasn’t supposed to happen.
