Fortnite and Attack on Titan are crossing over.

Fortnite really gave fans a big treat in Chapter 4, Season 1, when they brought the Doom franchise’s iconic Doom Guy/Doom Slayer to the game, along with the Witcher’s Geralt of Rivia. Their additions to the Battle Pass were among the most influential of all time, and really helped bring new players to the Battle Pass.

Fortnite also saw huge numbers from the Dragon Ball and My Hero Academia crossovers as well in Chapter 4, Season 1, with both the anime franchises providing big boosts to the player base for the season.

So it’s not that surprising at all that Fortnite would want to combine the success of the anime crossovers with the recent success of the Battle Pass and combine them for one major offering. According to leaks and rumors, Fortnite will be doing an Attack on Titan crossover for Season 2, which will see lead character Eren Jaeger join the Battle Pass and a new mythic – waist grapplers – join the game.

What is Attack on Titan and what is Fortnite’s Battle Pass

Attack on Titan is an anime that features the last survivors of Earth living behind giant walls, all to keep large, roaming monsters, called Titans away. The Titans inevitably break in and cause havoc, leading to the events of the series. It was a manga first, which ran from 2009-2021 and had 34 volumes.

The anime started ten years ago in 2013, and has four seasons, and currently 88 episodes with one more crop of episodes to still drop. The final third of the final season will start this week, on March 4.

As for the Battle Pass, it’s a seasonal offering that gives players a chance to earn free cosmetics, including new outfits, for one charge of 950 V-Bucks, or about $8.
