The following weapons have been unvaulted for a limited time.

Fortnite has unvaulted some of its more impressive exotic weapons from a bygone era. All four, save for the Boom Sniper Rifle, have been vaulted for a pretty long time. I don’t remember any of the four being in the game during Chapter 3, but I could be wrong.

The Boom Sniper Rifle was part of the game and was vaulted alongside the Heavy Sniper Rifle to start Chapter 4. Now all five weapons are back in the game and available in vaults and at certain vending machines.

So what are the five exotics that are back in Fortnite in Chapter 4, Season 1?

  • Hand Cannon
  • Dual Pistols
  • Hop Rock Dualies
  • Suppressed Pistol
  • Boom Sniper Rifle

Another weapon back in the armory this season is the Heavy Sniper, and while it’s not an exotic type, it’s massively powerful. It was nerfed during Chapter 3, reducing the damage output significantly, making it no-longer a one-hit eliminator. That’s changed, with damage reaching 300 for headshots.

How long are these weapons back in Fortnite for?

These weapons, the five exotics, and the Heavy Sniper are likely going to be gone again at the end of Chapter 4, Season 1, if not, they’ll be gone by the end of the Most Wanted event that’s currently ongoing.

This could always change, as the Dragon Ball crossover finishing up in Fortnite was supposed to see the end of the My Hero Academia crossover, but you can still find All Might branded crates, containing the Deku Smash mythic, despite the game bringing that in two-plus months ago.

This is obviously a make-good for the issues that cropped up around Christmas, which saw the game temporarily vault the mythic just days after launching it.

So it’s entirely possible some of these weapons stick around longer than just a few weeks.
