A trend with the Battle Pass may reveal when Family Guy arrives in Fortnite

Will Family Guy come to Fortnite’s Chapter 4, Season 2 Battle Pass?

It’s been months now since fans discovered a leak that claimed Doom, Family Guy, Darth Vader, and Indiana Jones would be coming to the game. Since that leak in a video that’s been screen-grabbed to oblivion, three of those franchises have come to Fortnite, and all via the Battle Pass.

Darth Vader and Indiana Jones joined up in the Chapter 3, Season 2 Battle Pass. Vader was the top character unlocked, while Jones was the secret outfit for the season. Later on in Chapter 4, Season 1, The Doom Slayer/Doom Guy was revealed as one of the key additions to that season’s pass as well.

With three of the four leaked names having appeared in Battle Passes at some point over the last few months, it’s gotten many fans speculating that Family Guy and Peter Griffin could be coming to the pass next season or later.

Family Guy in Fortnite’s Battle Pass makes sense financially

One could make a strong argument that one of the bigger in-game revenue drivers is the passes. They’re relatively inexpensive for fans to invest in, they provide dozens of outfits and variants every season and they incentivize players to keep playing.

So putting your biggest characters in the Pass as exclusives just make sense. We’ve seen this time and time again with Spider-Gwen, Aquaman, The Foundation, Spider-Man, Geno, Geralt, and others, so it stands to reason that Peter Griffin and Family Guy are being brought in as the Chapter 4, Season 2 Battle Pass.

It’s a solid theory but it is just that, a theory. Fortnite may never bring in anyone from the Griffins or may bring them in as a four-some like other animated crossovers in the past; namely the anime crossovers.
