The Hulk not having a Bruce Banner alter-ego was a silly mistake by Fortnite

Fortnite brought in the Hulk outfit but not including Bruce Banner was dumb.

By now you know that the Hulk was added to Fortnite. The big lumbering green machine is among Marvel Comics’ most iconic creations. A modern-day take on the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde story, where the mild-mannered Bruce Banner would turn into the dangerous and unhinged Hulk.

Over the years the creature “got smart”, thereby nerfing the character’s entire potential and storyline creativity. Still, the character has largely been popular all these years, even if the movies feature him as a side character, and will no longer make movies starring him.

Still, fans seem to like him enough to purchase him in Fortnite. Granted, I haven’t seen anyone plays like him yet, but still. Yet, if you bought the Hulk in the Fortnite store, you would soon find out that unlike other characters from the Marvel line and more recently other characters like My Hero Academia, there is no changing emote.

See, some characters like Superman and Iron Man allow you to change your costume mid-game. Superman becomes Clark Kent, Iron Man becomes Tony Stark, etc. Not every character does this, but a few do.

So it was surprising when Hulk didn’t come with a changeable costume emote, just like the others.

Fortnite missed the chance to do a cool Bruce Banner into Hulk emote

Imagine starting off as Bruce Banner, you’re running through the lush-green biome and you’re being chased, then you snap around and hit the emote, transforming you into The Hulk. Your body growing, ripping your clothes asunder as you take the shape of The Hulk.

And then get mowed down by a SCAR because you don’t have any weapons and you’re an easy target.

Still, it’d be a heck of a transformation.
