Fortnite 101: WATCH – The ENTIRE History Of Fortnite Battle Royale

Are you new to Fortnite? Have you been wondering what’s been going on prior to your arrival in the game? Well, you’re not alone. One of the hardest things to do with these online games is to figure out the story so far. You’re going to need gobs and gobs of help from YouTube, social media, and sites like this.

Yet, one of the best sources for figuring out what’s been going on is Top5Gaming. They’re a Fortnite video game channel that not only updates people on news, and reveals tips and tricks, but also has videos exploring the game’s past and lore.

Not just the game’s storyline past either, but actual events from the creation of the game and how it came to be. This includes failed concepts, lawsuits, updates, and all sorts of stuff. Well, they did a video updating the story of Battle Royale up until the current season of Chapter 3, Season 4. It’s pretty well done and will give you a general gist of what’s been going on before you arrived.

Chapter 4 may be coming sooner than we thought

If you’re new to the world of Fortnite, you may not realize it but usually, Chapters are long. The game has been live since September 26, 2017 (the Battle Royale mode to be exact), and we’re only on Chapter 3.

That gives you the idea that it usually takes more than a year, sometimes even two, to finish the chapter. That may not be the case for Chapter 4, however.

Some believe that instead of getting Chapter 3, Season 5 in December, we’ll be getting Chapter 4, Season 1. If that’s the case, then you’re really going to want to watch the above video to help prepare you for what may be the fastest change to the game probably ever.
