Fortnite is bringing in eight new outfits for the Fortnitemares.

Fortnite generally tries to update the game every few weeks, especially around unique holidays like Halloween. That’s no different here as the Fortnitemares event will be bringing in new characters for fans to purchase. We already know about the two Rick and Morty characters that the game brought in but they aren’t all that’s arrived.

There are eight confirmed characters, a ninth that will be free, and two potential outfits that are based on the game’s current bosses. The free outfit is Chrome Punk and we’re going to talk about him more later in a separate piece.

The other two characters, DJ Lyka and The Inkquisitor may also be in the game at some point as purchasable items. Those aren’t confirmed that I’m aware of, just heavily hinted at.

What are the eight outfits coming to the store to purchase

Abyss

Abyss is a female outfit with six eyes on her head and a plethora of eyes adorned across her outfit. The pattern seems to move.

Ash Williams

Based on Bruce Campbell’s iconic Ash Williams from Evil Dead, this character will come with his handy-dandy chainsaw as a pickaxe.

Ava

Ava has a simple look but comes with an alternate outfit that makes her look like a cross between a My Little Pony and an anime alien.

Bonejamin

He’s a skeleton with a thing for punk music. Clearly the best new character.

Jack O’Sassin

Another skeleton character, this one is a skeleton with a bumpkin’s head and a bony-designed suit.

Remi

Taken straight out of the 90s, Remi is rocking what appears to be a CD Player on his hip, but hopefully, his tunes don’t skip when he’s running from other players.

Trespasser Defector

An alien design that harkens back to the aliens we’ve seen in Fortnite.

Vivica Saints

Possibly the second most important outfit, right behind Ash Williams. Front and center in most of the trailers and promotional art.
