If Fortnite does a crossover with Gotham Knights, these are three characters we want to see.

Fortnite is the king of crossovers and tie-ins. If it’s a popular piece of media, save for novels, there’s a good chance that someone or something that’s part of that specific franchise will show up in the game.

There are no limitations, not movies, shows, music, or even video games. In under a month, WB Games will release Gotham Knights, a game that will focus on Nightwing, Batgirl, Red Hood, and Robin as they try to save Gotham from a new threat but this time without Batman having their backs.

The game is bringing several under-utilized characters from the Arkham games to the forefront this time around in what appears to be a spiritual successor to the Arkham franchise. While the game may not have any direct ties to the previously mentioned franchise, it should retain much of its core gameplay.

The Arkham franchise is among the greatest and most profitable in history so of course there’s a lot of hype around this upcoming release. That makes a crossover all the much more likely with Fortnite.

Three Gotham Knight characters we want in Fortnite

Batgirl

I always remark that the original female characters Fortnite produces are lacking substance. So when it comes to Batgirl, her look is anything but lacking. The purple and gold that make up her costumes are among the best color combinations in history and whether it’s the 1960s Batman series, the animated series of the 90s or the more recent takes in the comics, she’s always had a design that just screamed heroic and cool.

Nightwing

Changing Dick Grayson from Robin to Nightwing was one of the best moves ever, even if his first outfit in the pages of Teen Titans was so hokey. The more modern black suit with the blue bird icon is among the best ever created. It’s simplistic and iconic and fitting for Fortnite.

Red Hood

Fortnite is a game about guys and gals running around with guns. Red Hood likes guns. The pairing writes itself.
