Major Star Wars character apparently debuting this season

It looks like Fortnite fans aren’t quite done with Star Wars just yet.

Fortnite fans can’t get away from Star Wars it seems. Just when everyone was done with Darth Vader, and his boss ways, new rumors have emerged that claim another Star Wars character will be dropping in on the island. There is no firm date on when this is happening, but data miners and leakers have firmly stated that Luke Skywalker is coming to Fortnite in the coming weeks or months.

Luke Skywalker, the son of Darth Vader, will come into Fortnite with two lightsabres to his name, a blue and green one. The blue will be from the New Hope and the green from Return of the Jedi. As of right now, it seems as though he’ll be a playable costume fans can purchase, but there are rumors that he’ll also be a boss that fans can interact with and fight.

Should Luke Skywalker become a boss that fans can battle, hopefully, he’s not as dogged as Darth Vader was as a boss.

Hopefully, Luke Skywalker isn’t as annoying as Darth Vader

Fighting Darth Vader was a pain in the butt. At first, I thought he’d be hard, as I was able to eliminate him with a rolling boulder and a little help from some unwitting friends. That would be the only time I ever beat Darth Vader.

For reference, I’ve defeated the Herald half a dozen times already. She’s nowhere near the pain in the butt that Vader was. The Stormtroopers that came with him were bad enough but it was his ability to force pull you to him whenever you tried to get away. He could spam the attack to his content and if you were low on health or accidentally walked into someone else’s battle with Vader, you were screwed.

Hopefully, if Luke Skywalker does arrive on the island, he isn’t nearly as hard.
