Fortnite’s new boss, the Herald, has been revealed and its not an easy fight

Fortnite has said goodbye to Darth Vader and hello to the Herald.
Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4 has unveiled a brand new villain to replace Darth Vader as the map’s newest boss-level character. The season 3 villain saw Vader come to the Fortnite island alongside his Stormtrooper allies, and the imposing icon brought him with a whole host of powers and the mighty lightsaber. Now that he’s gone, we thought the island would be safe but that’s not the case at all, is it?
Nope, new to the island is the season’s newest villain The Herald, aka The Bloomwatcher as fans called her. Well, we think she’s a her. The Herald is now in Fortnite, regardless, and they’re an intense battle.
The Herald’s taken over the former home of The Seven, destroying the Sanctuary when the chrome took over. The area is now called Herald’s Sanctum, and to get a shot at the new boss, you’re going to have to climb up and find her. It’s not hard, once you know where the villain is, but it’s not exactly obvious the first time you go looking.
"Chrome’s not only taking over points of interest in Fortnite but actually building entire brand new ones. Ascend Herald’s Sanctum (near the abandoned Sanctuary) and stand atop this tower of honorable and hexagonal foundations."
What to expect when facing The Herald?
The Herald is not an easy fight but she’s arguably easier to battel than Vader, only because she can’t yank you back to her as Vader did with the Force.
The biggest hassle with fighting her is the fact that she can teleport, and put herself in a shield bubble while sending two chrome-covered wolves at you. If that wasn’t bad enough, good look finding shields in her castle-like structure. There isn’t much there by design and that will just add tension to the battle.
She drops a mythic rifle that has some real pop to it, so it may be worth the hassle of trying to best her.
