Fortnite is teasing the Season 4 Battle Pass in new images

Fortnite is seemingly hinting at the Season 4 Battle Pass with new images.

The Battle Pass for Season 4 is mired in multiple leaks and assumptive reveals. We’ve heard everything from a throwback season to an 80s season to an all-Marvel season of characters for the Chapter 3, Season 4 Battle Pass.

The only two characters we have a clue about, and to be clear, not officially confirmed for the Battle Pass, are The Paradigm and Spider-Gwen. The Paradigms is expected to be voiced and modeled after Brie Larson, the same way Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was for The Foundation.

We now know that both characters will be in the Battle Pass for sure, as Fortnite released some new promotional images of four separate characters’ hands protruding out of the metallic ooze. One of those hands is suspected to be The Paradigm, and the other is clearly Spider-Gwen.

The third (bottom right) is expected to be the season-exclusive outfit that uses the metallic goop as part of the attire. What the fourth hand is, is anyone’s guess.

Season four will also bring back sand tunneling

What is known and what is suspected are two very different things but Fortnite leader Donald Mustard just revealed this image of a sand-covered area, giving fans an idea of what may be coming next.

For a few weeks now, fans have been talking about how Chapter 3, Season 4 will bring back sand tunneling to work with the new metallic goo that will be all over the island and if that’s the case then fans can expect some truly wild moments.

Now, it’s always possible that Mustard is trolling fans, but considering the promotional images show Fortnite characters blasting out of the goop, it seems like this is in line with the theory. Now you could argue that the characters are being swallowed by the goop, and in a way drowning but it could also be that they’re exploding out.

If sand tunneling does come to Fortnite, then I guess we know.
