Rumor: Hulkbulster mech is coming to Fortnite in Chapter 3, Season 4
By Chad Porto
According to one new rumor the Hulkbuster is coming to Fortnite.
Fortnite isn’t exactly known for its reliability in the world of rumors, news, and such. Especially lately with their absolutely stunted and disappointing summer events, namely No Sweat Summer. The game has lost 13 million users since June and part of that is the failure to deliver on rumors and such.
The lack of skating really hurt the game, especially after the developers spent so much time working on it. With the release of the floating skate park, we know for a fact this wasn’t just some rumor either. Sometimes that’s all things are; a rumor. Other times the rumor is true and the game devs just shutter it for no reason.
One recent rumor is that the start of season four will see the return of a mech to the world of Fortnite much to many players’ chagrin. I for one love the mechs and want more of them. So I’m all about this current rumor.
According to Top 5 Gaming, the latest rumor has the Hulkbuster coming into the game for Chapter 3, Season 4 as the new in-game mech. This makes sense with season four serving as a Marvel-themed season with the Battle Pass.
More mechs in Fortnite, please
I’m gonna get flack for this but I don’t care. I want more mechs. I want mechs, I want tanks, I want planes; I want Thanos.
Fortnite as a competitive game is fine, you can go into your vanilla, boring, bland, pistols and rifles-only games to play and debate which one of you won your boring-filled, boring-battle-royale and was the Boring Royale champion.
I want bombastic weapons, the ability to turn into chickens, sky-diving and shooting one another in mid-air, over the top, balls to the walls excitement, and mechs bring that in spades.
Do I care if someone cheeses the mechs to easy victories? No! It’s my fault for not getting the mech sooner. Don’t nerf the necks. Make them stupidly overpowered so we can have awesome battles in the various small cities on the Fortnite island.
