Get the The Dish-stroyer Pickaxe by logging in via Geforce

Fans can get a new pickaxe by logging in via Geoforce but should you?
Fortnite really is getting desperate these days to get players to log into their game it feels like. Not only are fans being asked to refer friends, but Fortnite is entering into partnerships with brands like NVIDIA that don’t make a lot of sense.
If you own an NVIDIA account (or even if you don’t), you can now log into Fortnite via their GeForce Now service, and get a brand new and free pickaxe called the Dish-stroyer Pickaxe. To get that, all you have to do is log in via the cloud streaming service on either your Windows PC, macOS, IOS Safari, Android device, or your TV (yup), if you own any of the following; The NVIDIA Shield, Samsung TVs or select LG TV models.
You don’t have to pay for the subscription either, you just have to log in, even if it’s via the free account option and the pickaxe is yours. Just be aware, that this offer only lasts from July 21 to August 4 at 11:59 PM ET. The item won’t appear in your locker until August 11 however.
Should you go through all this for a free Fortnite pickaxe?
Listen, if you’re so hardcore that you’re going out of your way to getting your hands on any and every cosmetic, sure, log in and get your freebie. No harm there. That said, if you’re not trying to collect items for the sake of collecting them, we’d recommend not logging in to NVIDIA.
If you’re playing the game on a cloud service, and you prefer playing with touch screen controls, more power to you. NVIDIA is a fine platform, but most players use their consoles or PCs and prefer controllers over tapping screens.
So if you’re not a fan of mobile, cloud-based video games, going through all this for a silly free pickaxe really isn’t worth it.
