The Eternal Struggle has returned to the shop and it reminds us of two iconic characters.

The Eternal Struggle is some of the oldest and most popular sets in all of Fortnite. The angelic Ark and the demonic Malcore represent the good and evil within Fortnite. The set is back once again in the Fortnite shop for fans to get.

Fans can get the bundle for 3,000 V-Bucks or buy them individually. Ark’s outfit is 2000 V-Bucks, while Malcore’s is 1,500. His Evil Eye pick ax is 1,200 V-Bucks, while her Virtue pick ax is 800 V-Bucks. The Divine wrap is another 500 V-Bucks, while the  Ark back bling is 2,000 V-Bucks and the Malcore back bling is 1,500 V-Bucks.

Clearly, the bundle is the better option. Fans need to get on this one quick as it’s disappearing after just one cycle.

Yet, while the designs are unique, they do remind me each of something.

The Eternal Struggle reminds me of two iconic characters

First Malcore, who looks straight up like Howie Mandel in Little Monsters, just with inverted horns and red eyes. The 1989 film starring Mandel and Fred Savage is a cult classic that fans of a certain age will surely remember. The look isn’t a one-for-one remake but if you told me Malcore was inspired by Mandel’s Maurice from Little Monsters, I’d believe it.

Then of course we have Ark, a one-winged angel who has striking silver hair. I know one other one-winged angel from a popular video game franchise who has silver hair. I think we all know who I’m talking about, Final Fantasy VII’s Sephiroth. Again, not a one-to-one remake or anything of that ilk, but if you were to tell me she was inspired by the iconic villain, I could totally see that.

So catch the Eternal Struggle bundle while you can, before it’s gone from the store.
