Fortnite Save the World got an update following Battle Royale and Creative.
You could argue that Fortnite has three pillars to its business model. First, there’s the Battle Royale mode that every Fortnite player has hopped in on at least once. Be it single player, or a team game. Then there’s of course the Creative mode, where Fortnite fans can go off and build their own version of the island and share it with their friends.
Little talked about but just as important historically is the Fortnite: Save the World mode, which is in itself its own game.
While the single-player plot hasn’t changed much since it originally wrapped up, the game itself is still getting updates and new things for players to do. While Fortnite needs a brand new, off-line, single-player mode, if you’re a fan of Save the World, you aren’t going to be left out in the cold; so to speak.
What is new in Save the World this month?
The Blasted Badlands Venture is back in the latest update, and it will include the rage meter modifier, venture level rewards, and venture challenge quests; which are returning with the latest update.
Not only that but escort characters have unique modifiers as well now when you play the Hit the Road Questline. Finn and Crackshot have new modifiers that will grow and evolve throughout the “road trip”.
If you complete each stage of Hit The Road, you’ll get new rewards as well.
Not only that but you’ll be able to go through Dennis’ Imposter Questline, which will include a “Burger Buff” perk. Burgers pop up to heal your health and recharge your energy while you rack up the eliminations.
You can now get the Skate Party Royalty Pack for Save the World and Fortnite, which includes Toni, new back bling, a new pickaxe, and in Save the World, access to a PvE campaign. You can earn 1,500 V-Bucks just by completing the Save the World Daily Quests. Challenges are unlocked after completing the Homebase Stormshield Defense 3 mission
Epic has also made sure that Survivor missions end faster than normally, cutting the game after the last person is saved, which reduces the amount of weight permission.
